The Curtis J. Herrick papers, 1932-1979.

Papers from Herrick include: Vietnam war diary (July 13, 1964-Jan. 15, 1965); report entitled: EXPERIENCES IN THE IMPERIAL IRANIAN ARMY AVIATION FMS PROGRAM (1976). Two reports by Col. Robert A. Bonifacio consisting of a tour report of USG support activities of MAAG/TAFT in Iran (1975) and HISTORY OF IMPERIAL IRANIAN ARMY AVIATION, Jan. 1970-MARCH 1975 are in the collection plus an account of EXERCISE TEAM SPIRIT by Young C. Lim which occurred Jan. 9-April 10, 1979 in South Korea with the 27th ROKA Infantry "Yikiga" Division (1979). A biography and letters entitled: MEMOIRS AND LETTERS OF DAVID RHODES SPARKS (1932) are also found in the collection.

Curtis James Herrick (b. Aug. 12, 1909, Fordville, North Dakota-d. Feb. 9, 1971, Hawaii), Major General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1931.
